We get it: in the battle of couch versus gym, the couch usually wins. It?s so much easier to find an excuse than to actually do the workout. But what if your gym was two feet away from the couch and your workout was actually fun to do? Meet EA SPORTS Active, the motivating fitness program you can do at home at any time. With over 25 calorie-burning, muscle-toning exercises and activities, daily progress reports, and encouraging virtual personal trainers, you?ll get gym-worthy results without even thinking of making an excuse!
I was given a brilliant opportunity through British Mummy Bloggers once again (how much do I love BMB??). As some loyal readers know, I've struggled/am struggling/will be struggling with post-Little Miss poundage. Mind you, she's 13 months now so I should have sorted this out! However, I haven't. When I saw the post on BMB for Mummies who were interested in trialing the EA Sports Active Personal Trainer programme for Wii, my little heart did a leap! And then I remembered that we don't have a Wii. Awww! But, on the post from the lovely Kim at Fleishman-Hillard, if one didn't have a Wii, one could (notice the Queen's English here people) contact the lovely Kim and go down to London, to their Covent Garden office to trial the progamme in person. Well, I was all over that, my friends! I trip to London to trial a really cool product and then write about it? Yes, please, thank you very much. I checked with Hubby, encouraged him to take the day off and we booked a day and time with Kim to come and give it a go. Woo hoo! A day out in London! We decided to bring the in-laws along as well to make it a real adventure...see Little Miss enjoying our tube ride into London...
